This past week a friend of mine was in town and the entire time we talked about the theater of publicity and how formulaic something like an interview piece can be. That a segment producer will generally call a celebrities representative before the show to prep a few desk pieces.

However, I came across a clip today of Amy Schumer supposedly going off book. I sent this over to my friend and he proposed that maybe it was something that she had actually prepared, interview inception. I think the theory may be a stretch but I'm interested to hear what you all think!
