Workplace Inequality

I heard a theory about workplace gender inequality from a friend at George Washington University, that you can improve equality just by giving men the same maternity leaves. If a man and a woman with the same qualification compete for the same job, the man is more likely to get it, just because he won't be pregnant and leave for half a year still being paid. So in a large scale, men tend to get jobs a little bit better than women do, and make more money on average.
